Problem med keypad på tangentbordet [LÖST]

Vet inte vad som hänt. Men efter det att skärmen stängt av sig och jag ska skriva in lösenordet för att komma åt skrivbordet igen så funkar inte keypaden.
Nån som vet vad som kan ha hänt?


EDIT

Verkar hända efter jag tryckt ctrl + alt + backspace för att logga ut också.
Ganska jobbigt.

Märker även att musen börjar strula och låsa sig när jag håller på i gimp.

Ursäkta att jag skriver igen. Men snälla någon?
Är ganska så jobbigt att inte kunna använda sifferdelen av tangentbordet. Är inte van vid att använda siffrorna ovanför bokstäverna.

Jag har tyvärr inget bra svar men jag skulle vilja höra en lösning också.
Det hände mig för en månad sen, sen råkade jag pilla lite väl mycket, tröttnade och installerade om och då funkade det :P

Så jag bumpar tråden i väntan på en lösning.

Är ni helt säkra på att numpad:en inte fungerar alls?

Den har ju flera olika lägen... det vanliga med piltangenter, home, end, pgup, pgdn...och det numeriska läget när numlock är aktiverat... och ett läge för att styra muspekaren och "klicka" med musknapparna. Det är möjligt att det finns ännu fler lägen, men jag har ingen numpad på mitt tangentbord så jag kan inte testa själv.

För mig fungerade den men det var siffrorna som inte fungerade..

Funkade fint fram tills för några timmar sen.
Funkar när jag loggar in men inte efter det.

Det är alltså siffer-delen med enter, plus. minus osv på den högra sidan som inte fungerar.
Har kollat i tangentborsinställningarna men inte hittat nått konstigt.
Har t.o.m återställt standardvärderna men utan att det blivit nå bättre.

Inte fungerar som i att inget alls händer när du trycker på tangenterna?

Börja med att se ifall xev reagerar på dina tangenttryckningar och vad den isf säger. Du startar den från terminalen genom att skriva xev och trycka enter. Flytta muspekaren till den vita rutan som ska dyka upp och tryck därefter på någon av tangenterna som inte fungerar. Då kommer det stå i terminalen vad tangenten gör istället för att skriva en siffra. Vet vi det så kan vi förhoppningsvis förstå varför det inte fungerar som du vill.

Det ser precis ut som att du har aktiverat musläget. ;)

Tryck på numpad-fyran ett par gånger så ska du se att muspekaren faktikst rör sig åt vänster. Och numpad-femman ska ge dig ett musklick.

Tryck shift+numlock när du vill växla tillbaka till det vanliga numpad-läget.

Jo. Hittade det i tangentbordsinställningarna.
Har katter som springer på tangentbordet stupp i kvarten. Lär väl vara nån av dom som lyckats ställa till det ;D

Det ser ut som om det har löst sig för dig. Det är bra.

Jag googlade lite på ditt problem och fann några äldre länkar om bland annat en dåtida bug i Gnome.
Således inte i Ubuntu i sig. Vid den tiden löste man det problemet så här:
gå via system -> inställningar -> tangentbordsinställningar, under fliken: mustangenter,
ser du till att rutan för "tillåt styrning ....." är avbockad.

Kanske detta kan vara något att kolla upp?

Hur som helst, jag hoppas att det håller i sig för dig och att det blir så, som du vill ha det.
