Ubuntu Sverige

Hur kan jag få högre skärmupplösning än 800x600, eller är det den högsta, på Windows XP kan jag få upp till 1280x1024.
Jag har ett ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 grafikkort.

Det kan du nog få. Visa innehållet i filen /etc/X11/xorg.conf här så kan säkert nån hjälpa dig. Berätta också vad du har för grafikkort.

Jag är ingen expert, men jag hade samma läge, då gjorde jag:
1. säkerhetskopiera:
sudo cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf   /etc/X11/xorg.conf.backup
2.sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
Det ökade upplösningen en del. Det sista steget, för att få maximal upplösning var att ändra den här delen av etc/X11/xorg.conf: Helt enkelt manuellt lägga till den upplösning jag visste kortet klarade.
