Hur får jag ubuntu 12.10 att finna och montera min sony ericsson w955 telefon?

Finns det ingen inställning i mobilen där du väljer att den ska anslutas med USB mot en Linux istället? Som det var på min gamla ericsson så var Windows förvalt under dom inställningarna, nu är det länge sen jag hade den telefonen men då man ändrade i dom inställningarna fungerade det bara fint att ansluta till Ubuntu..

Om du får upp en fråga i telefonen när du pluggar i usbkabeln, välj masslagring. Då ska phone och phonecard monteras i ubuntu.

Funkar med att använda telefonen som internetkoppling också.

Drog ned ubuntu 12.10 på ett usbminne. Startade med det och telefonen funkar där också, både som usblagring och som internetkoppling.

börjar tröttna på ubuntu
alltid problem
kanske inte ubuntu utan när man använder kringutrustning.
Skall spara pengar och köpa tec. xp eller vista så man kan använda utrustning som man har.
ubuntu = problem hela tiden.
trots detta är man trogen ubuntu MEN kanske tid att byat.
Dessutom så har detta forum blivit sämre,
mycket färre hjälp nu mot innan.
Tror att dom duktiga har EGET forum där dom dryftar sina egna problem och inte vill bry sig om oss .

Om du startar terminalen, pluggar in telefonen, och sedan går tillbaka till terminalen och skriver

Jag tänkte på en sak som man kan prova, jag har själv en dator som jag måste använda en USB- Hubb som har separat ström-försörjning för att fungera ihop med min Android mobil. Jag har för låg nivå på spänningen i usb-uttaget, det som händer är att telefonen logga på och av så fort att det bara rullar runt med anslutningen och inget mer händer, och så blir det då jag använder USB-uttaget utan hubben med separat ström-försörjning.

I din dmesg kan läsa att USB mass storage laddas, vilket är bra. Men det vore bra med info från kommandot; med telefonen inkopplad.
Det verkar också som du har flera andra USB saker inkopplade, TV-mottagare (bttv)? Kanske du kan koppla ur de du inte akut behöver och testa telefonen utan dem?
