koppla in mobil bredband med 3connect när jag har Ubuntu- Ee

Jag har nu en Asus Eee PC 1005HA
och vill koppla in mobil bredband med 3connect. (http://www.tre.se)
Den funkar med Ubuntu-9.10-desktop-i386 när jag körde med Live-CD,
men inte med Ubuntu- Eee-8.04. hur gör jag för att funka med den sistnämda ?
Jag har HUAWEI E220.
