Vid uppstart får jag uppmaning att ställa om upplösningen till 1280*1024. Grejen är att det är den upplösningen jag har.

Vad göra?

Okej ett par frågor för att kunna utröna ditt problem.

Är det en laptop du har? Isf har du en extern skärm till?
Är du säker på att det är upplösningen den vill "korrigera" och inte hertzen?
Kan du klistra in din Xorg.conf här i forumet så man kan se den.

Jag har en stationär dator. (Problemet fanns även när jag bara hade XP på datorn. Nu har jag bara Ubuntu)

Den vill att jag ändrar hertzen också, till det jag redan har.
