GRUB error 21

Har kört in ubuntu 9.04 men har råkat på error 21 när jag ska boota. Jag läste http://ubuntu-se.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=200&t=39112 men utan framgång.

Antar att det är något i menu.lst (?) som spökar.

Såhär ser allt ut:
Sata port 1: partitionerad. 50gb med win vista, och resten en vanlig ntfs.
Sata port 2: ntfs
Sata port 3: ntfs
Sata port 4: ntfs
IDE: Hårddisken jag installerat ubuntu. (tror den är master om de har någon betydelse.)

Jag förstår inte helt hur grub fungerar och vart den kollar men såhär ser menu.lst ut på ubuntu-hårddisken (finns den på vista-disken med? hittar ej.):

Problemet är att den försöker att bota från din satadisk, jag fick samma problem och jag fick fysiskt koppla bort satadisken när jag installerade ubuntu eftersom du har Windows på din sata disk så vet jag inte om det går för jag har bara Ubuntu på min dator risken är stor att Windows aldrig dyker upp i grub.Kan du inte Lägga Ubuntu på din satadisk och använda idehårddisken som ett lager?

Hmm men de måste ju gå att säga på vilka hårddiskar den ska boota....

Jag vet inte hur grub fungerar men de har installerat sig på min första sata-disk också? Eftersom GRUB startar iaf.

Jag provade koppla ur satadiskarna och körde ändast IDE-disken men fick fortfarande samma problem efter installation. Jag får alltså error 21 både när endast ide-disken är i och endast sata-disken är i.
