Vad ska jag göra. Datorn min fick en uppdatering nyss och sen när jag skulle installera dom nya komponenterna så lagga hela datorn ihop. Det brukar inte vara så farlig med den här gången så var det mitt i en mycket viktig uppdatering. Det var grafikkorts, Modekorts och Linux som installerades och mitt i allt la den ihop. Vad ska jag göra? Märker av problem nu som tex synaptic inte funkar, Compiz och lite annat

Prova att göra om installationen? eller vad händer??

Men den lilla gula skylten som berättar om det finns nya uppdateringar till datorn kommer inte längre fram i mitt högra hörn. Hur ska jag då kunna prova installera om den? Och var hittar man den i så fall

Öppna ett terminalfönster och skriv:
Om den klagar på att den inte kommer åt låset för uppdatering på grund av att något hänger kvar efter förra försöket så skriver du:
och börjar om från början ovan...

Verkar inte gå...Dina förasta 3 aleternativ funka inte(men kom upp massa ord) och din sista hände det absolut inget alls med.

Kanske måste installera om Ubuntu? Dock då återkommer mitt ljudproblem igen

Verkar alldeles riktigt, det skulle komma upp en massa ord med de tre första och ingenting med den sista om de tre första hade funkat...
Du får förresten gärna lägga in vad den skrev ut vid de tre första kommandona, här på forumet...

Okej det funkar nu Synaptic men att aktivera inställningar för utseende->Exta frunkar inte:/

Har du kört de tre apt-kommandona nu då?

Alltså: Som du för övrigt kan avsluta med: och eventuellt en omstart om allt går bra...

Ok, steg 1 funkade... förutom att det var något (antagligen oviktigt) bibliotek som den inte lyckades hämta...

Kommentera bort raderna i /etc/apt/sources.list som innehåller något med "feisty"...

Och kör sedan sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/lock och börja om vid steg #1...
