Hej,
Efter att ha uppgraderat min fujitsu siemens 1650g till Hardy kan jag inte få 3d effekterna att funka.

Så här ser det ut i varningsrutan :
Skrivbordseffekter kunde inte aktiveras

Är det vanligt eller vet någon om någon lösning??

Du får upp xorg.conf genom att skriva: i terminalen

Vad har du för grafikkort?

Har du installerat/aktiverat drivrutiner till ditt grafikkort?

Kolla i "System->Inställningar->Hardware Drivers" om dom är "In use".

JAg har installerat Envy och fått det att fungera innan.

Har du något 3D spel installerat? om isåfall fungerar det?
Har du avant-window-navigator? Kan du starta det?

Jag har laddat hem avant-window-navigator men kan inte få upp någon ruta för inställningar el dyl när jag trycker på den i program.

Så du kan starta avant-window-navigator? Isåfall så verkar det som om det är fel med Compiz.
För inställningar så behöver du installera avant-window-manager. Också, gjorde du en uppgradering från tidigare version av Ubuntu eller ren nyinstallation?
