WWan på en Dell m1330 [Solved]

Hej,

jag lyckas inte få liv i det inbyggda Wwan-modulen i min XPS M1330, SIM-kortet funkar utmärkt i ett externt modem (Huawai E220). Är det ngn som sitter inne med lösningen?

Hej, tack!

Dell m1330 har ett inbyygt 3g modem. Jag kan inte få det att funka. Verkar som Ubuntu inte hittar ngr drivrutiner för det. Om jag plockar ur SIM-kortet och kör det i dongeln ( Huawei E220) så funkar det dock. Så frågan är, hur kan jag få det interna modemet att fungera?

Har samma problem. Har precis skaffat en Dell M1330 med inbyggt mobilt bredband men får det inte att fungera. Har valt att testa Ubuntu Hardy men saknar totalt tidigare erfarenhet utav linux.

Hitta problemet, se länk. Efter att ha följt anvisningarna i länken så såg jag också att något som hadde med serial USB var inaktiverat med # i filen så jag tog också bort detta och plöstligt så får jag kontakt med mitt modem. Jag använder KPPP i ubuntu för att koppla upp mig med telia mobilt bredband och jag kommer så långt att jag får en IP adress ifrån telia, men kan tyvärr inte komma åt internet. Tror problemet nu ligger i att få ubuntu att förstå att detta är en internetuppkoppling, hur man nu ska lyckas med de.

min kollega morfar har nu löst problemet. Se följande länk:

Efter denna instruktion så kör jag med vodafones applikation för 3g modem.
