får ingen bild bara ljud när jag spelar video filer

hallå har precis ändrat lite på min xorg.config för att få 3d accel.det funka skitbra, men när jag nu spelar up avi. eller annan videofil så får jag bara en svart bild och ljud. jag har prövat att spela både köp dvd, avi och mpeg med totem, mplayer och vlc med samma resultat. det verkar som om flashplayer funkar för jag kan se videos på youtube.
jag har oxå precis installerat compis fusion som följer med som standard till gutsy men det kan väl inte ha orsakat detta?

Jo, compiz kan vara så strulig ibland. Prova att avaktivera detta, gör ctrl-alt-backspace för att starta om x-servern och prova sedan att spela en liten videofil.
