någon som har testat att använda denna mp3 spelare med ubuntu, eller är model och liknande av mp3 spelar irrelevant? Finns det bra stöd för det i ubuntu?

Jens of Sweden överför sina filer via USB.
Det betyder att det finns fullt stöd för den i ubuntu, eftersom det inte är spelaren som ska stödjas, bara usb-överföring till en usb-sticka.
EDIT: Står dessutom i produkt-foldern att linux stöds.
