How YOU can help get bugs fixed in Feisty
On Thursday we will enter into beta freeze which is the start of an intensive period of testing and bug fixing. It's traditionally a very hectic time for developers, trying to fix as many bugs as possible before the release, which in Ubuntu is time-based.
There are two key areas where community volunteers can make a big impact on this process at this stage: CD testing and bug triage. The more time core developers have to spend on these the less time there is for coding bug fixes.
We have been running a CD testing project here in the forums for a few months and have built up a good community and process around it. Targeted testing of ISOs as a team can become a reliable piece of the overall testing plan and can free up valuable bug-fixing time. It means a developer may be able to download and test one ISO image instead of two on a given day. If you want to join this effort, please read this thread.
There are currently over 23900 open bugs in ubuntu, with over 11000 of these being unconfirmed (see stats). If you want to help with this please read the BugSquad page and join in!

11000 buggar som är oklara är klart tråkigt.... fyller man i en bugg så måste man följa upp !!!!
