Kan ej installera någonting!

Hej!

Det är så att jag skulle installera ny uppgradering på ubuntu och körde kommandot för uppdatering, dock hängde sig datorn och jag var tvungen att starta om den... och nu när jag skulle ladda ner apache så fungerade inte det, inte helle sudo apt-get update/upgrade eller vilket program som helst, jag får bara detta meddelande: (Det är ganska långt, jag tror inte heller jag fick med allt...)

Någon som vet vad jag skall göra? Jag har kikat runt en del på forum osv. det enda svar jag fick var att jag skulle avinstallera gimp och installera om det, men det finns inte ens på datorn längre.

Även kört:
sudo apt-get update --fix-missing

Hittar ej lösningen på problemet, och då jag inte vill installera om ubuntu undrar jag om det finns någon som vet hur man skall göra?

'se.archive.ubuntu.com:http' kan inte slås upp. Jag skulle gissa på att du inte har http som port 80 i filen /etc/services

Så här ser det ut i min fil:

http		80/udp				# HyperText Transfer Protocol

/etc/services gör om ett namn till en port. I det här fallet http->80.

Jag får nog göra en ominstallation på allt, jag har kunnat ta backup på det viktigaste, så får göra om göra rätt!

Hmmm, "No address associated with hostname" låter nästan som ett DNS-problem. Kan du prova att skriva "http://se.archive.ubuntu.com/" i adressraden i Firefox och se om du får upp ett antal kataloger i Firefox då?

Nu har den helt kastat in handduken, jag kommer inte åt den via SSH och nåt har hänt med behörigheter för vissa kataloger, så jag kan ej använda sudo kommandot... det blir nog en ominstallation iallafall :/

Det värsta är ju alla småinställningar :/

Jag har ett par små anteckningsfiler där jag skriver vilka inställningar jag gör. En fil om anpassningar i det grafiska gränssnittet (valt tema, hur många procent genomskinliga fönsterramar ska vara, vilka panel-applets jag lagt till, och sånt, inklusive vilka menyval för att komma till dessa inställningar). Sedan har jag en fil med namn på alla paket jag installerat (och vilka ppa:er). Med dessa anteckningar tar det inte lång tid att få till ett system som är nästa på pricken som innan en ominstallation.

(Jag brukar behålla /home och då följer det mesta av inställningarna i det grafiska gränssnittet med, så den första anteckningsfilen behövs inte. Mest för pedanten i mej.)

Kommentera ändringar i config-filer

Om jag ändrar en systemfil manuellt (i t.ex /etc), så lägger jag till en kommentar strax ovanför ändringen med datum, mitt namn och en kort beskrivning. T.ex. har jag lagt till några rader i /etc/hdparm.conf:

Nu har jag tyvärr redan ominstallerat servern! ^^
Det som var grejen var ju att jag inte kunde hämta någonting, och inte heller administrera någonting, efter uppdateringen som inte blev klar så att säga.
