Felsökning
Min dator med Ubuntu 10.4 har börjat stänga ner sig själv. Den går att starta om. Oftast får jag göra det flera gånger, sedan kan den fungera ett tag igen.
Ibland är det ett program som scannar hårddisken efter fel vid uppstart. (Förestående hårdisskkrasch?)
Hur felsöker jag?

Du skall kolla i dom filerna direkt efter en sån om start hänt. så letar du upp dagens datum och tidpunkten i filerna så kan du posta några rader output här:)algy skrev:Tack men...

"Aktuella raderna" = det som genererats 4/9 som jag lyckades kopiera efter 2-3 misslyckade inloggningsförsök. Eftersom jag inte är tillräckligt kunnig att tolka informationen och det inte gick att klistra in allt här så är frågan:

Ursäkta om jag gör ett korkat intryck.
Försökte ansluta till pastebin.org: Unable to connect to database var meddelandet jag fick.
Klistrade in info från (5/9) var/log/messages i ordbehandlingsprogrammet efter tre misslckade inloggningar. Det blev 43 sidor info. Här har jag klistrat in dom 5 första sidorna. Någon som kan utläsa något ur detta och kan lokalisera någt fel???

Den du postade där är enbart vad som hände efter att datorn startat. (Första raden så har linuxkärnan laddats, och sen hittar den all din hårdvara).
Det är raderna före den som är intressanta.
Siffrorna t.ex [ 0.892591] anger hur lång tid efter boot det är. Så det är raderna före 00000 osv som är intressanta.

Det är efter att värden börjar räknas upp efter 0.000000 som man kan börja att utläsa ev.fel?

OK! Hur som helst får jag starta om datorn 3-4 ggr för att den lägger av eller för att skärmen är svart.
När den väl börjar fungera så fungerarar den klanderfritt.
Kan man leta efter felkällan någon annanstans?
