[LÖST] problem med ppa: deb: installation

10.04 Lucid LTS

Bakgrund: Ville testa Jack2 för och se om jag kunde få lmms och ardour att lira ihop.
Så jag beslöt mig för att installera denna ppm: där jack2 ingick.

Unofficial Backports
In Lucid, thanks to the launchpad community and to the work of other variant of Ubuntu for Multimedia production, you may find a lot stuff in PPAs.

The first recommendation allow to have fresh and stable backports like Ardour VST, jack 2, and updated versions of a lot of softwares. Add this line in Synaptic in the "Third party software reposiroty" list:

Vet inte om jack 1 inte är korrekt avinstallerat för när jag ska installera jack2 får jag följande felmeddelande i synaptic.

"E: /var/cache/apt/archives/jack2_1%3a1.9.5+ladifixes1-0ubuntu2_i386.deb: trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/jack_unload', which is also in package jackd 0"

Tro på f*n, tio minuter efter jag skickat inlägget så löser det sig,, här har man grubblat i dagar innan jag postade.

Jag upptäckte att jackcontrol fortfarande gick och köra i applications, och i synaptic var rutan till jack1 gråfärgad med ett utropstecken i. Ett högerklick och removal löste installationen sedan....
