Fel i uppdateringshanteraren - malformed release file

När jag försöker köra uppdateringshanteraren laddar den de flesta av mina repositories förutom ett, där jag får

Misslyckades med att hämta http://archive.canonical.com/dists/jaunty/Release  Unable to find expected entry  main/binary-i386/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)
Vissa indexfiler kunde inte hämtas, de har ignorerats eller så har de gamla använts istället.

Har försökt leta mig fram till information, men inget jag testat har gett resultat.

Jag testade med att byta land för nedladdning men jag får exakt samma ändå. Har testat att lägga till mina repositories igen men samma sak igen.

När jag kollar i programvarukällor så kan jag dock inte se just denna raden användas någonstans.

Vad kan vara problemet månntro?

Min gissning är att det bara var ett tillfälligt problem på ubuntus server som kanske synkades eller något liknande just när du höll på och uppdaterade. Kvarstår problemet fortfarande?

Japp, det har varit så i över två veckor. Tänkte exakt likadant till en början.

Mina andra repositories uppdateras normalt.

När jag kollade länken till arkivet märkte jag att felmeddelandet är helt korrekt

Unable to find expected entry main/binary-i386/Packages

Det finns helt sonika inte i filen... main går inte att hitta alls.

Har er uppdatering fungerat korrekt, och har ni samma länk som jag? Eller har min blivit överskriven med något mysko?

Ingen som har upplevt samma problem?

Det är nu 27 dagar sedan senaste uppdateringen. Fungerar finfint på min laptop å andra sidan.

Har hittat några bug-reports där jag inte begriper vad som har fixats - eller ens om det är något som kan appliceras på mitt system

Tror jag kan ha hittat vad problemet är...
när jag besöker http://archive.canonical.com/dists/jaunty/Release som det stod i mitt felmeddelande så ser jag ju att allting där har att göra med partner... det FINNS inget main eller universe där. Undra på att den gnäller. Det måste ha skrivits över av någon lustig anledning.
