Undrar om det är någon som vet om det finns något program liknande sandra till windows som identifierar all hårdvara i datorn? Behöver t.ex veta vilken typ och modell jag har på RAM-minnet för att kunna bygga ut med mer..

Undrar om det är någon som vet om det finns något program liknande sandra till windows som identifierar all hårdvara i datorn? Behöver t.ex veta vilken typ och modell jag har på RAM-minnet för att kunna bygga ut med mer..

dmidecode och lshw är två sådana program som du kör från terminalen. Kör den vart och ett med sudo innan så att de körs som superuser så den får rättigheter att samla in så mycket data som möjligt. Vill du bara kolla på vad datorn hittar på ens pci-portar så kan du köra lspci och motsvarande om du bara vill se vilka usb-enheter den har detekterat så kan du köra lsusb.

Både dmidecode och lshw spottar ur sig rätt mycket information. Du kan ganska enkelt se till att det hamnar i en textfil som du kan öppna och läsa istället genom att skriva så här i terminalen:

sudo dmidecode > hardware.txt

Det skapar en textfil i mappen där du står i terminalen som heter hardware.txt och innehåller all information. Med lshw kan du göra likadant men byta ut dmidecode mot lshw istället. lshw kan även formatera sin information i html så du enkelt kan läsa den i t ex en webbläsare genom att skriva så här:

Ok, jag får bl.a. nedadstående. Kan du utläsa vilken typ av minne som skulle passa mig? Skulle jag kunna stoppa i 2st x 1GB av valfrit märke i de två lediga platser jag har?
