compiz på Xubuntu strular[LÖST]

Fick för mig att försöka instrallera compiz funktionerna på Xubuntu men det felar, försökte med följande:

För att installera compiz från synaptic använde jag dessa:

compiz-core compiz-fusion-plugins-extra compiz-fusion-plugins-main compiz-plugins compizconfig-settings-manager libcompizconfig0 python-compizconfig

För att starta compiz:

compiz --replace

Får följande meddelande från terminalen:

Har följande grafikdrivare aktiverad:

3D-accelerated proprietary graphics driver for NVIDIA cards.
This driver is required to fully utilise the 3D potential of NVIDIA graphics cards, as well as provide 2D acceleration of newer cards.
If you wish to enable desktop effects, this driver is required.
If this driver is not enabled, you will not be able to enable desktop effects and will not be able to run software that requires 3D acceleration, such as some games.

Ska det inte funka med den drivaren som jag använder ovan? eller vad är det som är problemet mer?

Verkar mer som problemet har med windows decorator än själva compiz. Testa att installera emerald och prova med det annars.

Ett enkelt sätt att starta och växla mellan compiz och andra hantererare är att köra med fusion icon. Installera paketet fusion-icon och starta programmet från menyn och du borde få en ikon på din systray som du kan använda att växla och byta mellan olika lägen på ett enkelt och smidigt sätt.
