Nvidia drivrutinen fungerar inte efter omstart

Kör Ubuntu 7.10 och har installerat Nvidia drivrutinen från Nvidias hemsida. Allt funkar kanonbra tills jag startar om, då får jag göra om installationen igen.

Tack, den fungerade även efter omstart. Men är fortfarande intresserad av varför det inte fungerade med drivrutinen från nvidias hemsida.

Vid vissa uppdateringar, av kärnan tex, så måste drivrutinerna installeras om om dom installerats manuellt.

Annars kan ju Ubuntu själv installera drivrutinen åt dig med ett par musklick.
