Gimmix 0.4.2 - nån som kan hjälpa mig?

Senaste versionen är 0.4.2 men den jag har är 0.4.1 och den vill inte riktigt fungera milt sagt. Det går inte att ladda in musik, inte heller drag 'n' drop fungerar. Följde installationsanvisningarna på Download sidan men det sket sig direkt. Nån som har testat Gimmix? Verkar vara en trevligt liten rackare men jag får inte till det. Den jag har installerad är från Lägg till/Ta bort. Den startar men jag får inte upp några musikfiler. Fattar inte...trög som få förmodligen

gimmix är en mpd-klient.  Har du installerat och startat mpd?  Annars fungerar den inte.
Om du tänker kompilera själv så behöver du installera build-essential.

Det räcker inte med att ha paketen installerade, utan du måste ladda hem deras motsvarande dev-paket...
Så förutom libmpd så måste du installera libmpd-dev.

Det är lite bakvänt att man måste göra såhär men så är det ibland i Ubuntu...

Är du säker på att du vill kompilera det själv?  Varför inte bara installera deb-filen och vara nöjd?

Du saknar en del beroende för att lyckas kompilera.  Börja med att installera:

Jag har ingen aning om den senaste versionen finns som deb-fil eller inte.
Men räcker det inte med den version som du installerade från läggtill/tabort?
Jag tror inte att en ny version kommer att lösa ditt problem att du "inte
får upp några musikfiler".
